Laken was such an amazing little "model".  She was the first baby that came in for training my newest assistant Haylee.  

We were at the beginning of busy season (still in the mud, not out yet), and she was just such a sweet baby, I can't brag enough how well she did! 

Laken's parents selected pink, yellow, and grey for their three colors.  We did a sunflower yellow to compliment the pink very well, almost like a "lemonade" colors! 

As you can see, we were able to do several poses/set ups with sweet Laken.  As I have mentioned, every baby is completely different, some sleep solid and some are very "touch and go".  It is my job as a professional newborn photographer to know those cues and I concentrate on baby led posing.  This means, I will work my regular posing flow, unless baby shows cues on not liking something.
